Lipoma and Cyst Removals

Surgical excision removes both cysts and lipomas.  Cysts are small skin sacs, often containing skin cells (epidermoid cysts), but can also contain fluid or pus if infected.  Causes include blocked glands, foreign bodies, or hair follicles.  They typically present as small, smooth bumps.  Complete surgical removal of the cyst sac minimizes recurrence.  Small incisions allow for minimal scarring, and wounds are closed with stitches.

Lipomas, collections of fat cells, are often found under the forehead muscle.  Their removal involves dissecting beneath this muscle before wound closure with stitches and tape.

Both removals will require histology a wound check 5 -7 days post treatment, this is included in the price.

Removals are from £850 and do require a consultation with a consultant plastic surgeon this is £170
